Built in 2016, Hana Restaurant is Singapore's modern cafe that never stops experimenting for a unique menu. Draws its line recently for the "flying "noodle", now they just launched another sensational menu collection for Japanese food fanatic. Ranging from the most Instagenic molten lava toast to the most delicious chirashi don is all here. Get ready to spice up your palate once again.
Tucked away in Orchard Forum exactly beside The Benjamin's Barker, this venue own a mid-size dining area. Stepped inside the venue, guest can experience the warmest and coolest atmosphere at the same time. With thematic doodle drawing on the wall, rustic wooden furniture, and simple table settings, each of you would spend more than hours right here. No wonder if the queue remains unstoppable especially during weekend night and dinner time. Better reserved your seat instead of walk in visitation.
Start with the crowd-pleasing menu called Molten Lava Burger Chicken/Beef (S$ 25.00). Featuring lava toast stuffed with nachos cheese and served with juicy beef/chicken meat along with fresh vegetables. One that impresses me a lot is a decadent cheese lava that tastes quite sweet and creamy in texture. That meat is not flavourful at first but when you dig in with that cheese, the whole flavor has been lifted. Since the portion is very huge, make sure to share this with 2 - 3 person.
Moving on to The Benjamin's Don Bowl, guest can experience three versions of it including The "Moo" Don (S$ 29.00) which is specialised on beef, The "Oink" Don (S$ 29.00) that is dedicated to pork fanatic, and The "Sea" Don (S$ 39.00) which feature several types of fresh seafood. You might spot your favorite protein here, but according to what I tasted before, the "Oink Don" is definitely the best. The tender slabs of charsiew together with a fluffy layer of omelet and fried rice has delivered robust flavor and texture like never. Salty, juicy, and creamy all-in-one bites
Hana's Don Bowl is focusing on a healthier meal with slightly fewer calories. There is two version here including The Fish Don (S$ 29.00), and The Premium Fish Don (S$ 49.00). Undoubtedly, The Premium Fish Don is one of the best donburi I ever taste in Singapore. Featuring a hearty combination between minced toro, fresh uni, cold crab, and overflowing ikura for remarkable taste all the time. It's light, pure, and tasty. Comes in limited quantity daily.
The Science Experiment (S$ 25.00) allow you to become a scientist by combining several colorful liquids into one and add a bit of alcohol. It's sweet, unique, and innovative. At the end, you will get the taste of lemongrass and apple.
Last but not least, you might love to try the Dreamcatcher (S$ 25.00). An apple passionfruit flavor, with a choice of rum or without. Simply refreshing and one of my favorite beverage at Hana Restaurant.
Hana Restaurant is a perfect hangout spot for casual and young blood. The food is highly innovative and delicious while the ambiance remains cozy and warm. Worth a visit.
