d'Good Café – England Inspired Cafe in Singapore

d'Good Cafe

When it comes to premium Western fare, d'Good Café has got it down pat with its signature menu collection. Let say sandwiches, cheeseburger or even fish & chips is all available right here. Made upon order and using only the fresh ingredients, each menu comes in delicious flavor and beautiful aroma all the time. We often visited this café in a random timeframe and impress with the consistency level of service and food. No wonder both tourists and locals always love this café.

 d'Good Cafe

Established in 2012 at a 2-storey shophouse in Holland Village, now d'Good Café has expanded its business to the heart of Singapore exactly at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. It was a good choice, though. Since downtown part of this nation always packed with white collar worker during weekday and tourists during the weekend. Occupying a huge space at the specific corner, these 2nd outlets offer you two dining concept include London Tube and an English Garden. In total, there would be 65-seating capacity with 10+ staff at the front scene. Pro tips: Knowing that the crowd seems to be unstoppable, we do suggest you do an early reservation instead of walk-in dining.

 Onion Ring

 Onion Ring

Start strong with the big portion of Onion Ring (S$ 6.00), a perfectly cooked battered onion served with mayo sauce and BBQ sauce. The main highlight of this dish is that crispy texture of the onion while the core remains fresh and light. Although the flour is too thick and hard sometimes, we still enjoy this much.

 d'Lobster Roll

 French Fries

The must-try menu here is D'Lobster Roll (S$ 25.00). That huge pieces of Boston lobster tossed with mayo sauce and salad is undeniably juicy and fresh. We love how fragrant that buttery bun as well. Then, when it comes together? Juicy, tasty and creamy all in one bite.

 Fresh Sea Prawn Aglio Olio

Some of the loyal customers only come here for Fresh Sea Prawn Aglio Olio (S$ 16.00), and yes, it is absolutely amazing. Just take a closer look for that prawn and you will start mouthwatering. It's succulent, fragrant and a bit salty that compliments the al-dante pasta much more than you think before. Also, we feel a bit of heat from the pepper there but we do love it because it is not too strong but just balances. For the presentation, it is surely sophisticated and Instagram-worthy dish ever.

 Original Pancake

Maple Syrup and Cheese

 Original Pancake

Last but not least is the Original Pancake (S$ 8.00) that looks so plain but taste undeniably delicious. With crispy texture on the outside and fluffy texture at the core, guest can feel a right composition behind that well-executed dessert. To finish strong, just add the sweet maple syrup on top of it and see how that pancake soaked up the richness of that liquid.

 d'Good Cafe

For the choice of beverages, Iced Water is absolutely free while Hot Latte is kind of best here. It is smooth, bold in flavor and looks sophisticated.

 d'Good Cafe

Overall, d'Good Café is definitely brilliant. It is a gem in the downtown area like no other. Offering a magnificent food collection with friendly hospitality, guest can feel relax and enjoy their time right here. From our perspective, the price is still reasonable since the food is nicely executed here. Especially the presentation is just beautiful.
