Continuing the successful story from Hong Kong, Tai Cheong Bakery finally landed in Singapore and open it is the first café right here. Presents the wide array of the menu include French toast, multi types of omurice and delectable local pastry to satisfy guest's palates. Basically, all menu is made fresh and using best pick ingredients to ensure the richness remain there. Since they just opened a couple weeks ago, no wonder if the crowd remains high. Possibly it would not be reduced as people do love their handcrafted dishes.

Nods to Singapore's hip district, Holland Village, are a simple café with minimum spacing, wooden table, and well-decorated floor. Together with an open kitchen counter, guest can see how the chef cooks each menu nicely and find out an unstoppable order list. Although the crowd is pretty high, especially on the weekend, the staff itself is quite responsive and deliver a good service.

Its impeccable standards presentation and impossibly delicious flavor set a whole new level of omurice in Singapore. Guest can feel a beautiful harmony between three layers of egg, rich homemade sauce, crispy pork belly and mushroom all in one bite. Even the aroma is just excellent. Definitely the best omurice in Singapore today.

If your tummy still looking for another side dish for sharing, Scrambled Egg with Spam (S$ 8.50) could be the idea. A nicely executed French toast got a crispy exterior and soft interior topped with fluffy scrambled egg and salty spam. We guess they add more salt on that spam since it tastes quite different compared to the common one. However, this menu is still delicious. That simple combination would never go wrong for any palates.

In the case of beverages, they will serve you a glass of Iced Water for free. But for those who are looking other than Iced Water, Teh-O-Peng and Kopi-O can ask the staff for more details.

Tai Cheong Bakery is an iconic café in Singapore this time. A perfectly handcrafted egg tart and nicely executed omurice are what we love the most from this venue. Nevertheless, the French toast also tastes delicious as well. For the ambiance is just too crowded, even on weekdays. But it is still understandable since people love their food and keep coming for more.
