Established a month ago, Pho-losophy is purportedly Singapore's most authentic Vietnamese restaurant serving progressive Pho and Prawn Rolls. As a new infant within the industry, Pho-losophy just gains its exposure from unique ways to spread the enjoyment of Vietnamese cuisine. To indulge every palate rightly, all of the ingredients are prepared in-house daily and all made fresh upon order. Sounds interesting? Let's join the crowd.
Perched on the Asia Food Garden, Pho-losophy is kind of strategic for office workers around the coverage. Owning only a small space at the front has successfully set a long queue during peak hour. But no need to be a worry, since they served every meal quite fast. It takes around 10 – 15 minutes until your food is ready. Also, guest can take any sauce that they love too at the pickup counter include chili garlic, soy sauce, and some typical Vietnamese sauce.
For degustating menu collection, just go with Pork & Prawn Spring Rolls (S$ 6.00). A sinfully small bite that put emphasis on crispy skin of dumpling and tasty filling at the core. Served together with housemade ‘nuoc mam' fish sauce on the side, guest can dip it carefully for extra flavor. Whenever you bites it, there would be a crunch sensation at first followed by the juiciness of pork and prawn meat with a hint of springy rice noodle. Definitely one of the best spring rolls in Singapore.
The must try menu like no other is Rare Australian Wagyu Beef Slices (S$ 15.00). With a fragrant beef bone simmered for 20 hours topped with springy rice noodle, ultra-juicy wagyu beef and extra meat, this menu are truly flavorful and incredibly delicious. Whenever you placed that meat on your tongue and start to munch it, the melt-in-mouth texture would be unveiled. Don't forget to squeeze that lime before start eating to balanced all the flavor. Also for those who love spicy food, just add three tablespoons of garlic chili for a bit of heat.
One of Vietnamese's signature dish, the juicy, tender Crispy Chicken (S$ 10.00) is a must-have with fragrant, aromatic homemade tomato rice. The perfect harmony of flavor and texture is what we love the most from this menu. Plus points it is just affordable and looks Instagenic from any different angle. Beautiful setup on that plate shows an exceptional skill of crafting this dish as well. Since the proportion is quite plain, just request for extra Fried Egg (S$ 1.00) for an extra element.
Pho-losophy is arguably the most delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Singapore brought to you by Australian who experienced in F&B industry back then. The food is skillfully made fresh and each ingredient delivers a robust flavor while the ambiance remains warmth and comfortable. Worth a try and back for more.
