Continuing the successful story from Hong Kong, Kam's Roast finally open its gate in Singapore. Calling out to all Chinese food enthusiasts to taste their ultimate pork and duck menus that set in tasteful settings and truly flavorful. Aim to deliver the high-quality menus each day, Kam's Roast only used fresh ingredients and authentic spices from Hong Kong to ensure the juiciness for each item. Because of this label, the queue would never get a stop. Just do the reservation first and enjoy the Chinese delicacies to the fullest.
Strategically located at the Pacific Plaza, this venue is just beside world's only Michelin-starred ramen called Tsuta. Stepped inside the dining area, guest will see a small spacing between each table surrounded by the unstoppable crowd and live cooking show from the open-kitchen counter. A huge wallpaper of Hong Kong also been placed at the center to attract the customer. If you have found your seat, just ask for the menu and order it quickly. Because it takes around 20 minutes until your menus is ready.
For the celebration of flavor, Roast Duck (S$ 16.80 for ¼ upper, S$ 19.80 for ¼ lower, S$ 29.80 for a half, and S$ 55.00 for whole) is a must. The beautiful skin of duck is just crispy and tasty, while the meat remains juicy and fatty. Perhaps, it will just melt-in-your-mouth from the very first bite. What we do suggest for this is they need to add more plum sauce to boost up the flavor. However, nothing can be better than this.
Crowd favorite menu is here, ‘Toro Char Siu'(S$ 22.80) put emphasis on the premium pork belly that has been marinated for a long time and slow-cooked to ensure the juiciness and fattiness of meat remain there. Drizzled with more homemade sauce, this menu will deliver a seriously flavorful taste. Just put it in your mouth, and it will be melt immediately. Kam Roast can serve this more than 100 portions a day.
Guest will be pleased by Crispy Pork (S$ 14.80) that looks so simple but taste undeniably delicious. It's crispy, juicy and a bit salty. Have this with a couple of steam rice and your meal quality would be lifted.
The best BBQ Pork (S$ 14.80) in Singapore so far. At first, we definitely impress by that honest presentation then after it goes into the mouth, a joyful feeling has been made. Nothing could compare how juicy, tasty and tender that meat is. A perfectly marinated meat create a lip-smacking sensation to satisfy gastronomes all the time. Paired this with dry noodle or rice for the best experience.
For those who prefer chicken over pork, can go with Soya Chicken (S$ 14.80) that never failed to entertain you. Presented in quite a big portion, this menu is suitable for sharing 2 people at max. Even the presentation is just nice, we totally impress with the masterful chef behind this dish.
For the individual menu, guest can go with BBQ Pork Noodle (S$ 9.80). Featuring a nicely cooked noodle topped with the row of juicy bbq pork meat on top and soup on side results in honest flavor and ultimate presentation. Since the noodle is quite dry better dip it nicely to the soup to cover up the texture. But still, we just love this combination. It still tastes good.
Kam's Roast is a perfect destination for exquisite Chinese delicacies like no other. The owner is humble and friendly, the food is just nice and tasty while the crowd would never get a stop. We definitely impress by everything here and from that point, it is not a surprised if they been awarded as Michelin-Starred Restaurant in the world.
