Brunch is quintessential in Singapore. On the weekend, people love to wake up late and after they awake suddenly craving for best egg benedict or even delightful rosti. To answer that inquiry, Froth comes in. Offering the signature collection of brunch menus, guests can find whatever they like here. Ranging from Western theme to Asian delights, all set in a tasteful presentation like no other. Let's find out more.
Tucked away in Raffles Place inside Ascott Hotel & Residence, this venue is a convenient option for businessmen or the even career woman who stay around the area. The sprawling place resembles monochromatic interior design, with pale line and thematic floor. Customer who steps in, will be greeted by warmth hospitality from the hostess and private atmosphere since the crowd is still manageable and only a few people spotted there.
As the starter, head straight for the Lup Cheong Rosti (S$ 16.90) that certainly value for money. The perfectly cooked potato pancake filled with crispy pork sausage and topped with fluffy omelet is undeniably delicious. There would be a crunch sensation at the first bite followed by soft and eggy texture at next. No additional spices or sauces needed, since this dish already packed with full-bodied flavor. Such a good way to start the delightful dining experience.
Looking for something more unique? For sure, this Basil Chicken Eggs Benedict (S$ 15.90) is a right decision to make. The hearty combination of two poached egg, crispy baguette, mini salad and minced beef can be classified as Western cuisine with a little touch of Asian flavor. Soft, juicy and melted might be the main reason why we love this. Since the portion is quite generous, you can share this menu for 2 - 3 person at max.
The other crowd favorite is Chilli Crab Burger (S$ 19.90), a beautiful composition between soft shell crab, atop chili crab sauce and covered by a soft bun. It might be looking too heavy, but honestly, it's just light and pretty tasty. There is a side of fries as well to accompany you while munching that burger. Sounds good? Be sure to have it while it warmth for the best experience.
Choice of desserts that we love is Taro Lava Toast (S$ 11.90) or Avocado Lava Toast (S$ 11.90). Both is quite similar in terms of texture which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But then the sauce itself is the one who set difference between both menus. After tasting both, we only recommend you to try the Taro Lava Toast that more balanced and well presented.
For the choice of beverage, nothing can be better than a cup of Hot Latte. Comes in bold flavor and nice presentation, your caffeine game is no longer boring. The right composition between milk and espresso is the key point here, knowing that most of us always have coffee at least one a day. Another option might be Iced Lemon Tea that's just sweet and simple.
Froth is a perfect venue forgather with friends or colleagues over food. Guests can expect a wide array of brunch menus that taste quite good and relatively affordable. Even the presentation of each menu is well maintained, so no doubt to say this place is worth to visit.
