Dagiya Gogiya - Fine Korean Comfort Food In Singapore

To start your humble dining experience, feel free to taste the compliment side dish that consists of Mini Salad, Pajon, Japchae, Fresh Beansprouts, Stir Fried Green bean, Marinated Egg and Mashed Potato. It will be served directly once you find your seat. Perhaps, if you find something that you like the most they give you a chance to ask for more means free-flow side dish for everyone.



Presents a scrumptious blend of traditional dish with a twist, Kimchijeon (S$ 18.00). A savory pancake that boasts up the Kimchi flavor and crispy texture. Soy sauce is generously drizzled over, giving the dish an intense salty flavor that shines through the bright layer on top. The nice ratio between egg and filling make it lighter and leave a pleasant aftertaste. Definitely enjoyable.


Their Gyeran Jjim (S$ 5.00) proves that a simple dish could be more significant than the complicated one. Just a steamed egg topped with spring onion served over the hot pot. The soft texture of that egg goes well with any palate that makes you feel comfortable to scarf down an entire portion without feeling overwhelmed. People called this as a comfort food, and yes it does. Definitely good.




Moving on to the entrĂ©e, be sure to taste the Jajangmyeon (S$ 16.00) that might be one of the best Korean-style noodles in Singapore. The hearty combination between thick noodle and rich black bean sauce with a chop of succulent pork has been resulting in nice smooth flavor for the whole dish. Once you stir it, all of the aromas will come out and it will catch you mouth-watering for sure. Another good point is, that kind of presentation clearly represents the  significant flavor of it. Mostly every table ordered this. Does it mean a good sign for you to taste it?



Second best choice is Cheese Ramen (S$ 13.00) that smells so good from the start of serving. The springy noodle served together with tasty soup and melted cheese is undeniably delicious. Compared with the previous one, this dish is more simple and straightforward to the flavor. Even though the appearance not-too-fancy, there is a real power behind it to satisfy your palate rightly. No one would resist this.

For the beverage, there is a free-flow Iced Water on each table. But still, if you got any different preference like a can of Coke or maybe a bottle of Beer, they also sell it in the reasonable price tag. Just look up the menu for more details.
