Joyden Kitchen is an authentic Chinese restaurant that has been established through a process. Creating a wide variety of Chinese cuisine using fresh ingredients and beautiful plating has been resulting in strong gourmet indulgence. Especially everything is made from scratch to sought perfection. In a sense, they got a specific method of cooking that never out of style. Definitely exclusive and interesting.
Joyden Kitchen looks undeniably gorgeous and sophisticated from any different angle that boasts gold accessories and wooden furniture. There is a warmth and comfort atmosphere for the whole area. Might be suitable for special occasions and individual treats.
The first stop in Joyden Kitchen is BBQ Pork Bun (S$ 4.20) which is delicious and soft. Precisely, this small bites is extremely simple but has redefined the industry needs. What makes it beautiful is the softness of that bun meets the richness of that barbecue pork. Once you bite it, it will certainly melt in your mouth. This menu is the must-try one.
Another highlight of their dim sum menus is Prawn Dumpling with Mayonnaise (S$ 4.20). Influenced by the modern criteria, this food is just crispy enough to brighten up your day. The only protein here is prawn which is juicy and fresh. Just dip it into the mayo sauce for the best experience. I think everyone's favorite is here.
As oozy as it is, a Salted Egg Custard Bun (S$ 4.50) is highly recommended. The fillings are right not too much but undeniably delicious while the bun itself is still soft and airy. Listed at the September's Salted Egg Collection menus.
Another beautiful creation that simply entertains each customer here is Shrimp Siew Mai (S$ 4.50). A brilliant handmade dumpling that certainly emphasise the dense mixture of shrimp, flour, and multiple herbs has been resulting in remarkable taste. It looks beautiful and yes the taste is even better.
One of Joyden Kitchen's best seller menu is the Crispy Squid Ink Seafood Roll (S$ 4.20) which is unique and attracting. Using the squid ink infused flavor to create that crispy layer is a very generous idea of cooking while the right intensity of filling at the core makes it even stand out. Nothing goes wrong with this.
Last but not least, is the hidden beauty that's surprisingly down-to-earth called Jumbo Shrimp Wanton Noodle (S$ 9.50). Since the noodle is handmade, it's certainly ultra-thin and sleek from any different perspective. No wonder while you taste it, there will be a slurp sensation in your mouth. Perhaps, that generous amount of giant prawn dumpling also fit with your palate. It's rich, juicy, and delicious. Might be the best Chinese noodle that I've ever taste this month.
It's time to reward yourself with something good like this. The old-style Chinese food that certainly whets your appetite. Whether it's the upscale family dining for locals or modern fare for tourist, there's always a reason to visit this store.
