Koh Grill & Sushi Bar - Confirm SHIOK!

Koh Grill & Sushi Bar is trully shiok. If you are on a quest to find a beautiful Japanese comfort food which is tasty and good-looking, this place would provide you the answer. Never lack of customer and always fully-booked is the main characteristics of this restaurant. Just make sure  to do the reservation first in order to avoid the long queue especially on dinner time and weekend.

Located at the heart of Singapore which is Orchard area, make it even strategic and easy to find. Actually the place is kind of small, not big at all but still full of people. There is a small Sushi Bar at front while the table settings is capable to served around 50 people at the same time. Never expect to much from their interior design. Since they just want to make you feel comfortable enough.

One thing that you should know here is Koh Grill & Sushi Bar are specialized in sushi. No wonder there is a lot of variant for sushi. Perhaps, some other menu like soba or even unagi is also recommended.

As i told you earlier, SHIOK!!! Maki (S$ 16.80) is currently No. 1 Sushi in the city nowadays. It's salty, rich, and delicious. There use a lot of ingredients in order to make it and somehow it's just blend really well in your mouth. The key point of this menu is located at that golden sauce. It has a strong cheese flavour and really creamy. Personally this one is the best.

Moving on to the next menu, they called this as Crab Maki (S$ 16.80). A beautiful combination between crispy soft-shell crab, beautifully cooked seabass, fresh vegetable and thick layer of rice it's just brilliant. Even though it looks pretty simple, i just like it anyway.

If you are a big fan of unagi, this Unagi and Egg Hotplate (S$ 12.00) is a must try one. No more doubt to say it taste really delicious. Once you bite it, you can feel the moistness and tastiness of that grilled unagi meet the softness of egg layer. Does it sounds great? Even the flavour speaks better than words.

To replace the rice, a plate of Yaki Udon (S$ 10.00) is a good idea. The noodle is thick and it seasoned beautifully. Some little component like vegetable or even meat also contribute a certain level of flavour and texture for this dish. Perhaps, it taste great though. You just won't missed this.

Koh Grill & Sushi Bar is more than impressive. Waiting for more than 30 minutes and eating for less than 20 minutes is even worth for me. How do you think?
