Central Hong Kong Cafe - Are you looking for Baked Rice or even Lok-Lok?

Central Hong Kong Cafe is my ultimate destination for Baked Rice and Lok-Lok. Specialized in Hongkong style of cooking, this place is trully emphasized the flavour and texture of every single menus. Perhaps, let's take a look which one suit you well.

Located at the South side of Singapore, exactly at Vivo City this place only have a small space to sell their signature dishes and any other products. However, the interior design of this place it's just brilliant and it's clearly represent the idea of traditional Chinese restaurant. Old-fashioned is the key concept of this design. No wonder there is so many family instead of youngsters. But it doesn't mean it's too old to try Central Hong Kong Cafe, because they tend to be modern and looks attractive. People from all ages are welcome to this.

As the starting point would should talk about Lok-Lok (S$ 2.00/piece or S$5.50/3 pieces). Actually Lok-Lok is known as "Wet Satay" is originally from Malacca. The idea is to dip all of the ingridients into a hot water that looks pretty similar with steamboat. Perhaps the one that Central Hong Kong Cafe served here is taste so good. The ingridients is so fresh and it has been absorb the richness of that soup. Especially they served this with 3 type of sauce which is spicy, sweet, salty and creamy. Just paired it with something that you like.

The best part is here. Chicken Baked Rice (S$ 8.00) and Seafood Baked Rice (S$ 8.90). As you can see there is a right consistency between stickiness of that cheese meet the juiciness of that protein in order to create a certain level of satisfaction. To get a best result, paired this with a spoon of chilli oil.

Furthermore, a bowl of Hong Kong Wanton Noodle (S$ 6.50/Dry) is worth the calories. The noodle is more than skinny and smooth while the sauce is not overwhelming. Another good point is located at that wonton soup on side. It's rich, soft and delicious. Simple composition with delicate flavour.

No one could beat Central Hong Kong Cafe in order to get beautiful Baked Rice and a wide variety of Lok-Lok. It's simple, tasty and delicious. Especially it comes in affordable price tag, everyone will like this.
