Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice - Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Bourdain, Who Else?

Graded as the 'Best Chicken Rice in Singapore' by international food expert and local residents, make Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice really popular nowadays. Established in 1986 when the local residents still prefer the authentic hawker food that's really affordable and traditional. Actually what make them so special is the secret formula that's located at every single elements on that plate. No wonder their successful story would never stop. Because they are truly escalade the hearty nation food into the whole new level to be acceptable from each people across the globe.

Started from the humble beginning at the Maxwell Food Centre, and now they got 4 outlets across boundaries. But still, the first outlet tend to be more significant and got higher exposure by food enthusiasts. As you can see the queue is there, and it will keep on increasing during lunch time. Approximately 45 minutes per person. Then, what can I suggest you here is to come more early.

As the title suggest, all you need to try is the Chicken Rice (S$ 5.50) itself. So far they got the most succulent chicken ever. Once you bite it, you will feel the perfect consistency between juiciness and moistness of that chicken followed by the most fragrant rice that you never-ever find it somewhere else (only here). Even like Anthony Bourdain said, you can eat that rice without any other toppings since it's really tasty and rich of flavour. Truly brilliant.

Next, Beansprouts with Cuttle Fish (S$ 4.00) must be added on your table. It's fresh, crunchy, and salty. The way they cooked this is just impressive since the flavour of it has proof me right. Really make sense to be paired with that Chicken Rice. Because it will compliment each other.

Whenever people ask me about place-to-go for local cuisines, of course Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice comes first in my mind. Because they served the most delicious chicken rice ever without any preservatives. Salute.

Chic-a-boo - Casual Fried Chicken Joint For Everyone

Chick-a-boo is the latest brand of Aston's that emphasized the idea of fast food restaurant. Serving 12 hours a day is more than enough to satisfy each of you actually. And yes, they are good enough to enter the competition with other fried chicken brand. Anyway, is it worth to try it? Definitely yes.

So far they got 3 outlets across Singapore and ready to expand more (next: East). The one that you see here is located at West side of Singapore, while the rest is located at CBD area and North. However, every single outlet have similar design which is simple and minimalist. They add more table here in order to reduce the queue time during the weekend and an online ordering machine to assist you more faster.

Chick-a-boo signature's cuisine is Fried Chicken and Fried Fish. It's pretty specific and easy to recognize, since they name has clearly represent those idea properly. On the other hand, my visit wouldn't just highlight those element because it will comes together with the choice of side dishes such as Coleslaw, Corn, Onion Ring, Sweet Potato Fries and even Cheesy Fries. And yes by adding those element into your plate, it would be more fun and interesting.  Just start this right away.

First start, you should go with the Chicken Set  (S$ 7.90). A combination of two pieces fried chicken with onion ring and sweet potato fries. The most powerful element located at the heart of that chicken itself which is superb-crispy, juicy and warmth.  Also we can say that side dishes has escalade the whole flavour of that plate plus add more brightness into it. How to enjoy this dish properly? My suggestion is to add every single components in one bites so you can feel there is a right consistency between saltiness, crispness and of course juiciness of it. You also got a chance to choose between original fried chicken or the spicy one. Both option is pretty good though.

Next, we can move to the Fish Set (S$ 7.90) as the most significant dishes in Chic-a-boo. Probably I've ever taste so many Fried Fish until now, but still this one could be categorized as the good one. It's crispy, tender and not overwhelming which is little bit of saltiness is there while the freshness of fish is remain sealed. You might be argue there are so many restaurants who offer this dish more interesting (eye-catching), but still that price tag don't lie. Really affordable and entertaining as well.

It's pretty obvious to say that Cheezy Fries (S$ 3.50) has a limited capability to entertain you. Because generally Chic-a-boo is really care about this. People might be saying there are so many restaurants who offer this menu as well, but if you are looking for the most affordable one with good flavour, this one is yours. The cheese topping is great while the way they cooked that fries is really proper. Since the crispiness and saltiness is still there. Does it looks good?

Then, for some people who are still hungry and looking for the light bites. You just can add more side dishes like I explained before by spending S$ 2.00 per bowl. I think it's more than worth though. Such a good way to elevate your calories rightly.

Chic-a-boo is simply great in terms of price and honesty. They just specify their segment in the right way to be different. Worth to checking out anyway.

Why choose llaollao over other different brand?

Nowadays people really concern to live healthy and properly. While the options of vegan food are spreading across many platforms, but still the ultimate selection of sweet tooth on that category left only a few. Perhaps, Frozen Yogurt could be the generous idea of it. And yes, when it comes to froyo, many people would think about LlaoLlao not the other. Why it could be happened? Does they have something unique to be stand out? The answer for both questions is, yes. However, this guide will highlight some good part of llaollao that people always looking for.

First, we all know llaollao is a natural froyo that has been crafted from scratch. No wonder there is a right consistency between flavour and texture for every single cup of it. Also it's safe for dieters who really concern about calories, because it comes in low-calories level. (Estimated. 400cal/cup)

Second, topping is just important for many of us. Because it will add more colour, more texture and more flavour as well. Actually if it's remain fresh, we all happy. And believe it or not, the one that llaollao served everyday is totally fresh and stay updated. As you can see here, the bright color is there and it looks really beautiful for sure.

Third, there is a wide selection of cookies that never get you bored. My suggestion is to try the Chocolate Ball, Cranberry, and Granola. All of them is trully unbeatable. Since it's really sweet, occasionally premium, and rarely to find on any different brand of froyo.

Fourth, if we talk about the choice of sauces then you should know how good that Cookie Sauce, Raffallao Sauce, and Wild Strawberries Sauce. Initially, all of them is taste really sweet and creamy. Have been trying so many yogurt with specific type of sauce so far and this three still stand on top.

Last but not least, this froyo has been escalated into the whole new level that looks so eye-catching all the time. Especially when the froyo has been made beautifully tall and comes together with that sauce also certain type of toppings. No wonder every single customer usually take a snap first before taste it. Anyway, if you realize llaollao offer you a choice of sizes and several different types of froyo .For the most valuable deal, just go with Sanum (S$ 6.50) or if that glass looks not fancy for you, just go with the Large size (S$ 6.90) then. However, their Smoothies (S$ 5.90) is something unique and need to be tasted as well.

And yes, if you ask me about place-to-go for froyo, llaollao would comes first in my mind. No more doubt to say it's more than satisfying and equal to perfection. Perhaps, the queue wouldn't get stop because people know the best. Probably their competitor is so many now, but fred not they would be endured forever. As long as they can maintain those element properly.

Located along the Tanjong Pagar Road is a very generous way to get more exposure since the area has been filled by office workers and many types of cafe. Actually as you see here, the place is quite spacious for cafe and it should be capable to handle 50 people at the same time. Perhaps, you can join a queue if it's on weekend.

First time trying Speculoos Chocolate Crumble (S$ 4.90) and suddenly fall in love with this. It's sweet, dense and full of chocolate. The crumble is my favourite part of this snack bar. Great combination that always satisfy you. Right?

Moving on to the ultimate cake selection, starts with the Speculoos Cookie Butter Cheesecake (S$ 6.90). The best-seller one in Cake Spade is here. Look at that simple beauty. The bright layer is belong to the cheesecake and guess what they add a rich caramel filling inside of it so whenever you taste it, you will find a right consistency between densities of cheese and sweetness of caramel sauce. There is no excuse for big fan of seafood to skip this. Because Crab Corner is specialized on many types of seafood dishes that's really authenthic and looks visually-appealing. If you do care about flavour and texture, they give you the answer. Does it sounds interesting?

For those people who are living in East, this place ask you more effort to reach it. Because Crab Corner is exactly located at Joo Koon (West). However, they are connecting with MRT station and it's more easier to find. If you goes in, you will see this restaurant is really spacious, modern and honest. No wonder there are so many family who join the crowd.

Every single components is works really well in your mouth. Perhaps, this is the real definition of good Chinese food.

The hype is here. Salted Egg Crab Fried Rice (S$ 15.00/person). Just look how bright and delicious is it. The fried rice is the main highlight of this dish. However, I do expect more flavour in that salted egg sauce. Perhaps, it's still great though. Worth a try.

One of the most beautiful Minced Pork Beancurd (S$ 16.00) ever. It's totally delicious, rich of flavour, and well prepared. Within that price tag some people might be saying it's too expensive, but for me it's pretty reasonable. Because good food would cost you more than cute food.

However, if you order Ice Water (S$ 0.40) it will be free flow. Good deal isn't it? Perhaps, more types of drink is also available.
